Situated Practices #1

November 30th, 2018 SITUATED PRACTICES: FAUX–ETHNOGRAPHY/WEIRD ARCHAEOLOGY is a series of performative lectures, each dedicated to the work of one or more artists that, engaging with fieldwork, make effective work out of non-fiction data, adopting methods from ethnography and archaeology, combining the empirical and the imaginative.

The series is curated by Paolo Patelli, organised by Design Academy Eindhoven’s Lectoraat Places and Traces, supported by Cultuur Eindhoven, and hosted by Wall Street Eindhoven and Onomatopee, in Eindhoven.

Following the performance/talk:
Finissage “de Vrijgieterij / Zelf Doen”
De Vrijgieterij is a collaborative playground for the everyday by Lucas Maassen and Hossie (Paul Slot). Zelf Doen (do it your self) is a presentation of 88 objects in Concrete, Bronze and Aluminium made in the past year at Wall Street Eindhoven, Beeldenstorm and Eindhoven Museum.
